2024 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in Boston
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a.... diver?
The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series returned to Boston for the third year in a row on Saturday, June 8th. This was the 100th stop in the competition's traveling series.
The team of divers arrived in Boston on Thursday to begin the first preliminary round of competition and were met with some rainy, overcast conditions.
Rounds two and three were held on Friday and attracted a number of spectators, before the finals on Saturday.
Some estimate that Saturday's Final competition amounted in over 40,000 attendees. Boaters filled the marina, fans lined the harborwalk, and guests of the ICA gathered in Seaport to see these incredible athletes take the plunge.
Britain's Aidan Heslop took home first place in the men's competition and Rhiannan Iffland of Australia placed first in the women's competition.
